Conversation Series: Unaccompanied Child Profile in Turkey: Ghost Children

“Being a Child in the Era of Crises: Rethinking the Well-being of Children in Türkiye After the Pandemic”, we held the second meeting of our speech series on Thursday, February 22, 2024 at Istanbul Bilgi University.

The speaker of the hybrid event was Social Worker Dr. Mansur Seyitoğlu, who has been working on the subject for a long time. In his speech, Seyitoğlu explained how unaccompanied minors remain off the radar of social services and therefore become invisible, and shared information on the “profile of unaccompanied children” in Turkey.
